On behalf of United Way Kid's Way Youth Committee, Houston All-Stars Children's Development Program conducted an annual Scholarship Award to assist five eligible and deserving graduating senior students with their financial needs during the first year in college. 

The recipients were invited back the next semester, as part of the agreement, to visit the program and write an assay describing their first semester in college.
